What to Expect
Real people, real friendships, real Jesus. Here's what a first Sunday at DRBC looks like.
The Worship
A blend of contemporary worship songs and beloved traditional hymns. Expect real engagement, not performance — worship that lifts your eyes to Christ and prepares your heart for the Word.
The Preaching
Pastor Mike preaches straight from the text — solidly biblical, verse-by-verse, and grounded in the original Hebrew and Greek. Expect rich insight, honest challenge, and warm, practical application for everyday life. No yelling, no gimmicks — just the Word opened faithfully and brought home to your heart. Typically 40–45 minutes.
The Atmosphere
Warm, friendly, and unpretentious. As an evangelical Baptist church, most folks dress business-casual to Sunday best — but you'll be welcome in whatever makes you comfortable. Come as you are; nobody's checking labels.
Your Kids
A safe, welcoming nursery for infants and toddlers, and engaging Bible teaching for preschool through 5th grade during the 10:30 service. Students meet Sunday evenings. All children's and youth workers are prayerfully selected, trained, and background-screened in keeping with our child protection policy.
A Safe Place for Your Children
Your child's safety is one of our highest priorities. From the moment you arrive, our nursery and children's areas are designed to be secure, welcoming, and well-staffed.
Secure Check-In & Check-Out
Our nursery uses a secure electronic check-in and check-out system. A friendly team member is always at the station to greet you, answer questions, and make sure only an authorized adult can pick up your child.
Safety Team on Site
Our safety team maintains a visible presence in the building with the children and nursery at all times, so you can worship with peace of mind.

Wednesday
- 7:00 PM — Young Adult Ministry (Annand's Home)
- 6:30 PM — ESL (English Classes)
- 7:00 PM — Adult Bible Study & Prayer
Thursday
Soul Food Ministry
- 9:00 AM — Doors Open
- 9:45 AM — Devotional
- 10 AM–12 PM — Food Distribution
Coffee & Refreshments at 10 AM
Between Discipleship at DRBC and Morning Worship, join us in the worship center for coffee, refreshments, and easy conversation. It's one of our favorite parts of the morning — a great time to meet new faces and catch up with old friends before the service begins.
